Crystal Quartz
|
Crystal Quartz is a positive uniaxial birefringent single crystal grown using a hydrothermal process. It has excellent piezoelectric and optical performance, high physical and chemical stability and hardness with left-right-spin structure, and good transmission from the vacuum UV to the near infrared (0.2-2.3¦Ìm). Our crystal quartz is selected to minimize inclusions and refractive index variation. Crystal quartz is most commonly used for high damage threshold waveplates, Polarization Rotators and tuning elements etc. polarization optics are utilized in laser optics. |
